Learn the Basics of painting with Watercolors, Oil, Acrylics or Pastels. Beginner as well as experienced painters are welcome. We will work from still life, or painting from a photo reference. You are open to choose to do landscape, seascape, floral, still life, figurative and/or portraits. Many techniques are explored. Composition is discussed as well as lighting and values. ACRYLIC PAINTING TECHNIQUESE

Enjoy learning how to use acrylics and its quick drying advantages to create beautiful works of art that have depth and luminosity. Join me while I teach easy techniques of acrylic painting for both the beginner and experienced artist. Students will explore various subject matter which include; live still life arrangements set up in the studio, landscape photo that includes a water feature, and a favorite animal photo. Fundamental elements of form, light and shadow, blocking in of color, value, composition, etc. will be covered. Learn to work wet in wet as well as glazing techniques to build up a finished painting.
