Non Representational Art Collage

Instructor: Kat Block

Adults & Older Teens

Date: Sunday, January 12, 2025

Time: 1:00pm - 4:00 pm

Non Representational Art Collage

A Collage About Nothing

Your goal in this workshop is to create a collage with absolutely no recognizable elements:  no trees, no people, no animals, no flowers, no buildings…. Nothing.

Your subject will be the elements of design:  colors, shapes, lines, textures, marks. Your collages will be structured around the Principles of Design. You will not be relying on your drawing ability. Your focus will be entirely on composition. I am re4commending that your work be asymmetrically balanced to place greater emphasis on movement.

This workshop will elevate all of your representational work because the compositions will be stronger.

Please bring your own scissors and Elmer’s glue. All other supplies will be provided.

$7.00 materials fee paid to the instructor.
